So far, I'm avoiding it. I've got a runny nose, but I think that is from the weather going from 70º one day to 27º the next then back to 70º again. If I can just get all these sick folks I live with on antibiotics, maybe I can avoid getting sick myself. Since I take a daily vitamin/mineral supplement, and am the only family member to do so, it makes me wonder if that's why I'm not sick.
In other news, Christmas is bearing down upon us. Where has 2008 gone? I know a lot of people won't be sad to see 2008 end, but it seems like a blur to me. I've got a little last minute shopping to do, as my husband finally sent me his e-wish list from Bass Pro Shops! He had wanted a back-up camera for his new truck, but then decided to wait on it. Which means I had to come up with a gift or two! LOL
Anyway, we're all hanging in there. If I don't' get back here before Christmas, do have yourself a Merry little Christmas, won't you?

Update: Well, while I was at the Minute Clinic with my son, I had the nurse practitioner check me over, too. Now all 4 of us are on antibiotics and Mucinex! I finally found out why they prefer Mucinex: it doesn't increase the heart rate like Sudafed does. And even better, you don't have to show your ID and swear you're not going use Sudafed to make in-home meth. You just present the Mucinex and pay for it. My husband ended up seeing a doc-in-the-box and got a cortisone and antibiotic shot, and the doctor thought he heard some lung involvement on him. But he was on the correct antibiotic for that already, just needed a jump-start with the cortisone to calm things down so they could drain and heal. So maybe we'll actually all be feeling great this Christmas!
