Well, another week is whizzing past in front of my eyes. It's Wednesday already. Wow.

Friday, my daughter has a field trip to NASA in Houston. They have to arrive at the school for 6 AM to take a coach bus down there; they wont' get home until about 2:30 AM the next morning! Yipes! DH will be on a camp-out with my son, so that leaves me to wake up at that ungodly hour and go retrieve her. I know they'll have a blast, but I won't be surprised if I see crankiness Saturday, just in time for her Piano Recital that afternoon. >:-/

I swam 16 laps today, and might could have gone 18, but I'll save that for tomorrow or Friday. I found that during the first 4 laps, I only have to take a breath every 4th arm stroke, rather than every other. I think that is awesome, and shows me how much healthier physically I am due to the swimming. My lungs felt like exploding the first day I ever got out there; now, I can do 4 laps in repetition, breathing every 4th stroke. I think that is cool. When I get to the end of a lap in the shallow end, sometimes I will stop for a couple minutes and catch my breath. I call this "interval training." :-) Anyway, invariably I put my hands on my hips while I'm breathing deeply, and I giggle when I feel the bones under there! I feel like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon. I weighed at the gym today; I've lost 94 lbs. :-)

Life is good. Well, it was always good. Now, it's better.
