It's a brisk morning here in North Texas. The car thermometer said it was 32ºF as I took the children to school. It's breezy. Windy, really. But it's bright and sunny, one of those days you are glad you're alive to enjoy it.
Monday night was pretty exciting around here. My husband got a new pick-up truck! He got a Toyota Tundra Crew Max, ina beautiful navy blue metallic, which matches his boat perfectly! It's got a few bells and whistles, and of course, smells wonderful! He deserves it; his old truck was over 10 years old, and has over 170,000 miles on it. We'll probably sell it in a few months. He actually had someone leave a note on his windshield saying if he wanted to sell it for cash, to call the guy and he left his phone number. That put a smile on DH's face!
Wednesday nights are our crazy nights. The kids have a program at church they are involved in. Every other week before church, my son has Cub Scouts. And on the weeks he doesn't have Cub Scouts, DH has choir practice at church. All this translates to me running the roads, keeping one eye on the clock, and everyone eating supper at varying times. I've discovered crazy evenings like this are perfect evenings for finishing up leftovers that we can microwave as we are ready to eat.
Today is a 20-cent listing fee day on eBay, so I may get some items listed today. I need to take photos and get them on the computer first. Hopefully I can get to all of that before the kids get out of school.
