No, not me! DH's BOAT! He and DS left yesterday to take his boat up to Flippin, Arkansas, the home of Ranger Boats (and a Sonic, I think). DH's boat will get the full works done. It's 13 years old, and while in great shape for it's age, needed a little TLC. So DH is getting new carpet, the seats re-upholstered, dings and gashes in the hull buffed or floated out, any beat up trim replaced.... the boat should look like brand new!
He called this morning and said his "baby" was dropped off, and that he and DS were heading to the "pro shop", which is the store in the office building where you can buy Ranger-logo items. Then they are heading to Bull Shoals lake, to see the 2009 models. Today is the day they have Ranger dealers up to look at the new models in action on the water, and I guess, place an order. I told DH to leave his credit card in the truck!
It's such a manly trip, I just can't stand it. We had talked about all 4 of us going, but my heart wasn't in it. I knew it would be a trip full of testosterone and didn't want DH to have to suppress any of it on my account. They should be home late tonight, but it wouldn't surprise me if they spend one more night on the road. It's about an 8 hour drive one way up there.
