Well, we had to cancel our trip to Louisiana at the last minute. I wound up with pneumonia! I took two 3-hour naps on Christmas Day, steadily feeling worse. I saw the doctor 1:00 PM the day after Christmas, and after testing for the flu and a chest x-ray, pneumonia it is. Even I could see fluid on the x-ray in the left lower lobe of my lungs. I got a shot of Rocephin to get things going, and oral antibiotics for the next 2 weeks. I feel a little better this morning. I'm still coughing, but it is productive. The body aches have lessened, and I was having fever. My temperature would swing from sweating to chills, and that may have lessened a bit.

My husband has been good about keeping the kids entertained so I can rest. He took them to a movie yesterday, and they are going to the shooting range today.

Okay, well after updating the looks of the blog and typing this, I'm ready to go get in my La-Z-Girl and hunker down. I will post more in a day or so.
