He's everywhere! He's everywhere!

So in our home we have 3 copies of the latest Harry Potter book, and 4 people wanting to know what is happening. My daughter is about 2 chapters from the end. My husband, is actually sitting down to read it as well, about 12 chapters into it. He is not much of book reader just for pleasure. He says he reads enough specifications and contracts at work that it just doesn't interest him. Until Harry.

After church, we came home to drop off one car (I had to be there early to do puppets for the little kiddos) and my husband and daughter both walked out of the door with their own copies of Harry Potter. We went to a fast food restaurant for lunch, and they read the books all the way there, and since it took a few minutes to get our order, were reading them at our table as well. They ate quickly, then picked the books back up to read while my son and I finished our lunch. A short while later, we noticed a mother 2 tables down from us reading the same book aloud to her 3 children, who were wide-eyed with attention. We did a quick head-count. A full 10% of patrons at Taco Bueno were reading Harry Potter! 3 out of 30 people... but if you count the audience, it was a full 20%.... just having lunch... at that particular Taco Bueno... today! Harry's everywhere!

I had to smile. And hope that Amazon can ship out my audio CD copy overnight so I can receive it Monday!
